Developing a Whole School Approach to Handwriting (Zoom)
This online course will support English Subject Leaders to develop a whole school approach to the teaching of handwriting.
In the session, we will help you to:
- Audit current practice
- Make informed decisions on handwriting styles, progression, timetables and resources
- Plan how to support teachers to make links between handwriting, phonics and spelling
- Plan staff meeting/s and future staff training
- Decide on impact measures.
Suitable audience: English Subject Lead and members of SMT. This course is particularly suited to anyone who is new to the role of Subject Lead or is looking for a new approach.
