  • advice on improving vocabulary and grammar skills through the use of quality texts and links to topic areas
  • ideas for exciting opportunities to apply skills into a range of fiction and non-fiction writing tasks, including cross-curricular contexts
  • guidance on teaching independent proof-reading skills
  • advice on internal/external moderation including developing an effective plan for collecting evidence
